So I updated to WP3, and it seems to have broken the theme I was using, so right now I’m using the new default theme of WP3.

Hooray?

That’s about all I have to report from the frontlines.

Everything seems to working okay, though I had to change one of my plugins in WP to another one, as the old one kind of stopped working. Hard to say if I could have done anything about that, so I figured I’d just change to something else that does the same thing.

If you see any missing links or broken pages, let me know, maybe I can fix that shit up.

It looks more modern?! Or does it?! Well I like it either way. I noticed after that last update that I either had to edit the Green Goblin theme to properly support images within the post, or change the theme to something that supports them. And because I’m lazy I chose to change the theme to something else. So now you can see the Flying Russian the way it was meant to be seen. As in, a proper image container, if you will, with a caption that is cleanly separated from the main text, and the text is also aligned next to the picture rather than entirely under it like it was on the Green Goblin.

So yeah, I could have done all that myself I guess, but lazy way out is the only way out. Oh yeah, I also should really figure out some other picture in there instead of that ugly pancake picture. :D

A new full version of WordPress has landed, and behold, they implemented an autoupdate feature in it. About fucking time.

I’ve also been playing Prince of Persia on PC. It’s one gorgeous game. Not too bad in other ways either.

“What is this sudden surge of activity all about?!” they asked when Mika continued to update his blog for the second time within the last 24 hours. “When will this madness stop?” they wondered by themselves while the crazy man kept writing random nonsense that no one ever reads.

Because I was getting tired of the theme I used to use, and still haven’t managed to make Nizzy’s theme to work properly. Sooo Lazy.

So I upgraded to WP 2.6, and all is well in the world.

I also saw all 3 acts of Doctor Horrible during last week, and it was brilliant.

A lot of categories had been piling up overtime, and since WordPress has had a proper tag function introduced, I decided to move a lot of the superfluous categories to tags instead. Additionally, I added a bunch of relevant tags to older posts.

And since the categories are now low in number, I added them back to the sidebar, for your browsing pleasure.

Also, Technorati has been having some trouble indexing the site again, I do wonder if it is fixed now.

It has a new dashboard. :o

Nothing special is happening here.

So hooray? Looks like everything is working fine. Apparently the 2.3 version had some major security flaw, and thus 2.3.1 is here, saving the day!

I’m keeping fairly busy with life right now, but really nothing worth writing home about. Busy and boring, story of my life. Recently anyway.

I’m thinking about shaving myself bald. Because hair is always in the way, and it’s too much trouble to keep it together. Thank god I don’t have any kind of emo hair, that would be a disaster. Keeping it in order would effectively eat the little free time I have left, leaving me with extremely boring days.

I now noticed that wordpress has both categories and tags? What’s the damn difference then?
